On the morning of Friday, March 15, 2024, the BFS62 seminar “Welcoming and Activating the MOU between the Vietnam-Japan Human Resources Development Institute (VJCC) and the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (JCCI)” was successfully held at the VJCC Institute auditorium, Foreign Trade University.
Representing the Keieijuku Vietnam Business Community , Vice Presidents Vu Tien Cong and Dao Trung Kien, along with many heads and deputy heads of specialized committees within the Executive Board, attended the BFS.
Within the framework of the BFS, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Hien, Director of VJCC Institute, emphasized that VJCC places great importance on the contents of the signed MOU between the two parties, and expressed strong belief in fostering more connection activities between VJCC and JCCI.

Speaking at the BFS, Mr. Dao Trung Kien, Vice President of the Community, extended congratulations to VJCC and JCCI on the successful signing of the MOU on December 1, 2023, in Tokyo, Japan, witnessed by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and various Ministries, agencies, and sectors of both governments. Mr. Kien also expressed hope that this cooperation would open up many opportunities for cultural and educational exchange, as well as facilitate the development of relationships and business transactions between companies within JCCI and companies trained at VJCC, especially those belonging to the Keieijuku Community.

Just before the BFS began, representatives of the Keieijuku Community Executive Board , VJCC, and JCCI had a quick discussion about upcoming activities. Both sides agreed to explore organizing exchange and sharing sessions such as BFS , factory/company tours (Company Tour / Genba Tour) , sports exchanges , etc., for Keier and JCCI businesses to participate, thereby fostering mutual understanding and seeking cooperation opportunities.

Following the speeches and MOU congratulations, the entire audience listened to a presentation by Mr. Kinoshita Tadahiro, Chairman of JCCI and General Director of Sojitz Vietnam, on the topic “Experiences in Business Development in Vietnam from the Perspective of JCCI Chairman.” A comprehensive overview of the development path of a general trading company like Sojitz Vietnam, as well as insights into Vietnam’s economic development through various periods, were presented by Mr. Kinoshita with specific and sharp evidence. Furthermore, questions and discussions from the BFS attendees themselves, especially students and alumni of the Keieijuku Advanced Business Program and CEOs, contributed to the success and vibrancy of the BFS.

It is hoped that the success of the BFS in particular, and the initial step in activating the MOU in general, will serve as a premise for VJCC and JCCI to conduct more in-depth research into activities, thereby providing more cooperation opportunities for businesses within both ecosystems, particularly between businesses in the Keieijuku Community and JCCI.
